In 2013, Ted’s wife Audrey discovered a long-overlooked box in her La Jolla home. It contained two unpublished books. One was an early concept for Ted’s Dr. Seuss’s Horse Museum, an inventive story revealing the true nature of art and its power to inspire and affect our lives.

This newest Capsule Release features a circa 1950’s sketch conceived by Ted for this unrealized project. It is one of the only fully developed drawings he made, offering collectors a rare piece of Dr. Seuss history. For admirers of Dr. Seuss, this artwork stands as both a collectible treasure and a lasting symbol of his inventive spirit.

(NOTE: After being tucked away for nearly six decades, Random House Publishing completed the project in 2019 with final illustrations by Andrew Joyner).

So this begs the question, what are you saying about yourself and is it worth saying?

  • Are you a child at heart?
  • Are you looking at life through the wrong end of the telescope?
  • Are you curious enough to look past the surface, to “listen with your eyes” and find the lessons that are deeply important to us in our lives?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, then this new work may be the perfect foundation to the collection you’ve already begun… or the one you plan to start!
